Intro Days is a series of meetings for new international students at the Jagiellonian University (excluding exchange participants). The aim is to introduce them to university life and daily functioning in Kraków.

Student Centre for Support and Adaptation "SOWA" is a project of the Jagiellonian University and the University Hospital in Kraków addressed to Jagiellonian University students. In the centre you can talk to a qualified person about mental health problems affecting your studies, work or private life.

During the panel, the rules and deadlines for tuition payments, conditions for fee exemptions, and the procedure for submitting exemption requests will be discussed.

International and domestic exchanges

During the panel, the most important international and national programmes for Jagiellonian University students will be discussed. The participation rules, application deadlines, scholarship amounts, as well as the destinations and duration of the trips will be presented.

The meeting with student organizations is an opportunity to get to know the Student Government, Scientific Circles, the JU Student Ambassador Team, the Student Cap Brotherhood, and the Słowianki Song and Dance Ensemble.

Legalization of stay

The panel will be led by employees of the Małopolska Provincial Office and the Border Guard. They will discuss residence legalization, entry and exit regulations, types of visas, and penalties for illegal stay.

Insurance

During the panel, the rules of health insurance, the conditions for insurance provided by the University, the rights of the insured, and registration locations will be discussed.

Financial aid

During the panel, forms of financial assistance for Jagiellonian University students will be discussed, including types of scholarships, application procedures, and required documents. The rights of international students will also be addressed. The panel will conclude with a presentation of Jagiellonian University student dormitories and Collegium Medicum.
