Other education forms offered by the Jagiellonian University are used to improve professional qualifications, expand and update the knowledge necessary for the profession, as well as to prepare graduates for examinations related to further academic or professional education.

Jagiellonian Language Center conducts courses at all levels of language proficiency, such as: English, German, Spanish, Russian, Korean and Esperanto. Courses are taught by qualified teachers, JCJ develops and implements its own curriculum, tailored to the needs of the group. Classes are held in two convenient locations at 3 Ingarden Street in well-equipped classrooms.

The Centre for Polish Language and Culture in the World at the Jagiellonian University is one of the most important Polish educational centers for foreign students. The Center's offer includes intensive semester and year-long programs, several-week summer courses, as well as a whole range of courses and programs implemented in cooperation with Polish and foreign partner institutions. Teaching at the Center is led by specialists in the field of Polish language glottodidactics gathered in the Department of Polish as a Foreign Language - the team creates and applies modern, innovative and, above all, effective teaching methods.

Learning Polish is always the most important goal for foreigners studying at the Centre. They can also gain knowledge about Poland, its history, society, culture and literature as part of a wide range of additional classes. Most of those studying at the Centre are foreigners, but in addition to them, there is also a group of Polish students (participants in supplementary master's and postgraduate studies) and doctoral students preparing to work as teachers of Polish as a foreign language.

You are welcome to attend lectures conducted as part of the Artes Liberales open lecture series. The Artes Liberales open lecture series is intended for students and doctoral students of the Jagiellonian University. The lecture offer is developed for each semester.
