Fee for a place in a dormitory
The Vice-Rector determines the fee for a place in a dormitory for Educational Affairs with the Student Government and PhD Student Association.
From 1st March 2022 to 30th June 2022, the monthly fee is higher:
in a JU dormitory
at October 2022
- for a place in a shared room – PLN 495
- for a place in a single room – PLN 585
- for the private use of a double room (at the request of a student) – PLN 832,50
in the Doctoral House
- for a place in a double room – PLN 495
- for a place in a single room – PLN 720
- for the private use of a double room (at the request of a doctoral student) – PLN 832
from November 2022
- for a place in a shared room – PLN 560
- for a place in a single room – PLN 672
- for the private use of a double room (at the request of a student) – PLN 980
in the Doctoral House
- for a place in a double room – PLN 560
- for a place in a single room – PLN 80
- for the private use of a double room (at the request of a doctoral student) – PLN 980
Reservation fee
The amount of the fee for the academic year 2022/2023:
- for a place in a shared room in a dormitory and the Doctoral House – PLN 495;
- for a place in a single room in a dormitory – PLN 585;
- for a place in a single room in the Doctoral House – PLN 720.
The reservation fee will cover the fee for the first month of living (October) in a dormitory/the Doctoral House.
Failure to pay the reservation fee in a given time will be regarded as a resignation from the allocated place.
Schedule for the application and reservation fee payment for the academic year 2022/2023.Detailed information regarding the payment procedure, including the bank account number for the payment, will be sent to you by the administration office of the allocated dormitory.
Individuals who did not receive the e-mail with the bank account number for the reservation fee payment must contact the administration office of the allocated dormitory directly.
Individuals who paid the reservation fee but would like to resign from the allocated place until 16th September may apply for a refund to the administration of the allocated dormitory in USOSweb (the application must be registered before the date of blockage of places – 6th October 2023 for the academic year 2022/2023). Order No 118 of the Rector of the Jagiellonian University of 30 September 2022 on: the amount of fees for places in the dormitories of the Jagiellonian University and in the Doctoral House of the Jagiellonian University (excluding Medical College)
The amount of fees for places in the dormitories of the Medical College of the Jagiellonian University are regulated by order of the Vice-Rector for Medical College.
